Fort Towson, Oklahoma Great Little Community

Fort Towson is a hidden small gem in Southeast Oklahoma. It is nestled on the banks of Lake Raymond Gary. City limits takes in the lake and the houses around the lake. You can own the shore, fish from your back yard, and still have city utilties including cable tv and dsl, and paved streets, garbage collection and city police.

What more could you ask for?

Although there's not any major industry to speak of in Fort Towson, per se., Hugo Oklahoma and Paris Texas are near by.

Are you a history buff? Then the old fort remains and the story and artifacts that go with it will interest you and a new museum is planned for the area to highlight the fort.

Great country folks, crappie, bass, and catfish fishing, 4 lane highway right through town. We truly enjoy Fort Towson, the people there, and the lake.
